Time to party!

20 June 2026

Welcome to our wedding website!

Hello!

After being on the horizon for what feels like forever, we are finally looking forward to welcoming you all later this year to South Devon to celebrate our wedding
- with food, drink, games and, most importantly, dancing.

The date - 20th June 2026
The time - 1:30pm ‘til midnight
The venue - The Barn at South Milton
The vibe - Garden part-ay

Dress code

Garden party, so summer dresses and light suits please.

Please note - this party is inside and outside. Therefore, bear in mind that the ground around the games may be soft in places, so stiletto heels may struggle at points. Also, there is the chance of sun (Yay!) and rain (Boo!) so suncream and umbrellas are advisable items to have on hand.

What's the plan?

Please arrive by 1:30pm - we will be joining you shortly after for an afternoon of games, drinks, and conversation, to be followed by a wedding breakfast (and some short speeches) before dancing commences around 6:30pm and concludes by midnight!

Check back closer to party time for more specifics.

Travel and accommodation

Travel

The Barn is down some really quite narrow lanes, which is no surprise to those of you familiar with the area, but those from further afield should be aware!

If you aren't staying in walking distance, we would recommend booking taxis well in advance. There are a number of firms in Kingsbridge and Salcombe - here is a list, but it is by no means exhaustive.

The Barn provides directions here on how to get there from Exeter. In our experience Google Maps works just fine (and any taxi driver will know the way).

On the day (to provide a little extra hint!) we will have signs up on the road and at South Milton village pointing the way.

Accommodation

Our venue has a list of accommodation options on their website here, but generally this part of Devon (The South Hams) is full of holiday cottages and B&Bs.

There is also the option to stay at The Barn in a bell tent (or bring your own!). There is a small fee for use of their facilities overnight. If you'd like to stay on-site please book either of these directly with The Barn here

The nearest larger towns/villages are Salcombe and Kingsbridge, each about 10-15 minutes’ drive from The Barn.

Salcombe is a well-known seaside resort, while Kingsbridge is larger and a couple of miles upstream.
